Opa came to visit in December (yes, this post is long overdue!) and we took the girls for a walk in the hills above Stanford (the Dish, for you locals). The girls insisted on getting out of the stroller and walking about on their own. They were fascinated by the rocks scattered about and each girl carefully chose a small rock to carry around. We were treated to some fabulous views of Stanford and also saw several deer along the path. (Nina's in brown in the photo).
During Opa's visit we also visited a nearby street with gorgeous Christmas decorations. The girls were facinated by the lights, moving Santas and by all of the Christmas trees. Here's a photo of Opa holding Nina, who's blowing a kiss.
