18-Month checkup and update

Time for another long-overdue post! Back in December, during Opa's visit, the girls had their 18-Month checkup. They're still doing very well and continue to push the limits of the height chart(~2' 10"), sticking on the 95% curve (surprising, I know!). The girls also continue to be on the lighter side, and are still on the ~25% curve for weight (~22-23lbs). The girls are on track with their milestones as well, saying a couple key words, feeding themselves, and walking pretty quickly.

Since the checkup the girls have started jumping...or at least trying to jump. It's hilarious, as their method includes squatting down and then springing up as quickly as they can, onto their toes and flinging their arms into the air as if to say "ta da!". They're also making excellent progress towards running. They're still using a walking-style motion, but are very fast--like little speed walkers.

Nana continues to take adorable pictures of the girls napping together, like the one below of Nina (left), holding Claire's hand.
