When I take the girls out, one of the most common questions I get is "how can you tell them apart?". I must admit, I'm still very surprised when people ask. To me, Jason, and Nana (and possibly others!), the girls look pretty different. There are moments when their "identical-ness" really jumps out however, particularly when both decide to make the same motion or do the same task.
Their personalities and mannerisms are pretty different, but they generally react well to each other. At several points during the day, the girls will look over to each other and start laughing hysterically back and forth, as if at some inside joke.
While I was pregnant I had several other twin moms tell me that the girls would cooperate, even at young ages, to get through obstacles and solve problems. So far, their cooperative attitude has functioned in a very positive way, sharing paci's, toys, and helping each other to push the furniture and toys around in their quest to walk.
