Language tidbits and kisses

The girls are babbling several different sounds now, including "Mama", "Nana", "Baba", and the adorable "Babu" and "Daddy". They are pretty good at associating "Daddy" and "Dada" with Jason, but the other sounds are still non-specific.

Nana has also been working with the girls on their word association and each girl can now identify eyes, mouth, nose, and hair when asked. So far, they can't point to their own body parts, but are very happy to point these things out on others.

Here's a short video of Nina:

They are also great at identifying the "ball", "outside", and several other words, including my favorites "sister" and "kiss". When asked where sister is, Claire and Nina will make eye contact, laugh, and try and get close for a hug or kiss. In the top pic, Nina's moving in for a kiss (left) and Claire is making one of her funny faces. Claire had a chance to kiss back (bottom) while Nina held onto her for balance.
