Big move

After a bit of an interruption, the bebe-blogging continues! A little over a month ago we packed up and made our move to Massachusetts. We made two separate moves...first to Nana's apartment (~10 mins from Stanford), where we stayed for a few days, and then to New England with Nana and all of our stuff. We spent a few days in Nana's apartment surrounded by boxes, but the girls didn't seem too upset by the clutter.

Claire and Nina had a lot of fun with the moving boxes, as you can see from the video below (Nina's laughing in the background).

We flew on an overnight flight and the girls slept through most of it, which was great. While we waited for our furniture to arrive we stayed with family in New Hampshire and enjoyed a wonderful week with my Aunt Carrie, Uncle Bill, and cousins Haley, Taylor, and Mei. We had fabulous weather and enjoyed lots of time outside with the girls. (The photo is of Nana with the girls in front of Carrie and Bill's gorgeous house).

While in NH we took the girls to a local aquarium and Nina ran from tank to tank, emphatically pointing and grunting at each fish. Claire loved the tide pool and carefully touched many starfish.

We took the girls out to eat a few times too and we discovered that Claire and Nina both love tartar sauce. I presented them with a small container to dip their fried fish, but as soon as they tasted it they smiled happily, dunked their spoons in and shoved heaping spoonfuls into their mouths. We're still working on the condiment concept.
