New toy

Last weekend Jason and I took the girls to Ikea to buy some shelving and came back with a brand new cart toy. The trip went really well and they girls loved sitting in the strollers. They pointed and grunted at all the brightly colored objects and I was pretty impressed by their pointing stamina. After a yummy meatball lunch in the store, which the girls scarfed down, we headed home to assemble all of our purchases.

The girls ended up using the cart far more creatively that I had imagined. I figured one girl would push the cart and the other might fill the bin with toys or other objects. Instead, the girls interpreted the cart as a twin-sliding device and took turns pushing each other inside of it. In the video, Claire is in the pink and Nina's issuing commands from within the cart.
