As you may know, my birthday is on Valentine's Day, and the bebes and I enjoyed a day full of fun surprises. I woke up to a set of adorable pictures taken secretly by Nana (I posted just a couple above). Jason and I each had our own set of these, including cards and several fun shots of the bebes in cute pink outfits. What a great way to start the day!
Cassie came up for the weekend and I got to be the queen for the day as she and Jason waited on me. Jason spoiled me with course after course of my favorite foods and drinks, a rose at each hour, and many fun props including a tiara, scepter, costume jewelry, and wand with bells to summon him. (All of which will make great additions to the bebes' future dress-up clothes!) He even dressed up for the part, complete with a bow tie. Soooo fun! Couple that with my favorite movies, a bubble bath, and a pedicure from Cassie (just to name some of the day's fun!), and I was pretty much in heaven.
The bebes got to play the part of princesses (nothing new there!) and Jason took over all of the feedings and other bebe-related duties while I lounged on the couch (which he decorated as a throne). The bebes were their usual good-natured selves and got a big kick out of all of the decorations. Claire was particularly interested in the wand, and kept grabbing it and shaking it around wildly.

Well, Julia, I just read your Valentine's Day/Birthday report to Uncle Charlie and all he had to say as he laughed, The --- he's making the rest of us look bad.....!" And we both had a good laugh with that one!!! Yes, it would be hard to top this. So what is doing next year?
Can't get over how big the girls have gotten and how absolutely adorable they are! Its nice to see Cassie with you in your birthday picture. How wonderful that you were treated like a queen on your special day! I'd be interested in the wand with bells:-) My friend's daughter had twin girls in January and they love to look at your blog when they get a chance. Love to all!
