8 months old already! The girls are starting to diverge a bit in their development. Claire is more physical (and has a mean right hook!) and is only days away from fully crawling. Nina isn't as interested in motion as she is in speech. She's already babbling "MAMAMAMA", and has also done the "MAMA". She's not associating the sounds with objects/people (darn!), but instead just starts belting them out whenever she wants something. She's used it to tell us she's thirsty and also to signal when she's finished eating. It gets our attention, and perhaps that' the appeal.
The new, fun game is Peek-A-Boo. The LOVE it and don't seem to get tired of it. Their favorite hiding method has been the burp cloth, Claire is particularly good at removing it and popping out, with a huge smile. She's also advanced a bit and will wait for a few seconds (dramatic effect?) before quickly removing it and beaming proudly. She can also "help" Nina along, by unveiling her (video).

I love it! I can't believe the girls are getting so grown up and advanced... and enough to actually start entertaining THEMSELVES! What's next? Drivers' licenses? Dating? College???
