Claire and Nina had their 4-month checkup on Tuesday. They got to wear these adorable hospital gowns and Nana and I posed them for lots of pictures (Claire's on the left). Hey, everything's a photo-op when you're a parent! Claire's 13.9 lbs now, and Nina's catching up at 13.6 lbs. That puts them around the 50th percentile weight-wise.
We ended up staying there (mostly waiting around) for nearly two hours and by the end of the appointment, when it was time for their vaccinations, the girls were already exhausted and irritated. As you'd expect, the girls hated being poked repeatedly by needles, and their mood went from irritated to very very angry. Thankfully, bad moods pass quickly when you're a little baby, and they were back to their normal happy selves later that day.
