It's week 16 and the bebes are fluttering a lot more. There's about a pound of bebe in there now and it shows! I've also made peace with one of my odder pregnancy symptoms...the linea negra. For those who haven't had the pleasure of this odd phenomenon, it's a dark, hairy line extending from the belly button down to the pubic bone. I can't imagine the point of it...perhaps its just yet another "hey males, this one's already pregnant, move on!" ancient evolutionary thing, as if the belly isn't enough. Pregnancy hormones do the oddest things!

16 week belly

Wow, I didn't think the linea negra showed up as early as 16 weeks. You're so "lucky" :-) Maybe you'll get chloasma and stretch marks, too!
Sue had the most awful skin tags....
The good thing is that most of these things go away one the babies are out.
