Claire Crawls

Claire has just figured out how to crawl. She learned how to get into position weeks ago, though she'd generally just wiggle her little butt up and down and side-to side, without any connected forward motion (Nina's in this stage now). A couple days ago, Claire lifted her arm high above her head, scooted one knee forward, and then plunged her hand down in front of her, and with that, the crawling stage began.

Claire seems extremely satisfied with herself and has already made her way towards several fun things including Nana's shoes, a box of coffee, and the Plexiglas shield we're using to prevent baby-TV interaction.
