A couple weeks ago, I decided to try and read the girls a book. I figured it was way too early for them to sit and pay attention, but I thought it was worth a shot anyway. Much to my surprise, the girls sat quietly and looked at the pictures as I read The Cat in the Hat. I've tried to read a few more books to them since then (I'm reading Green Eggs and Ham in the photo) and as long as the book has colorful pictures, they're into it.
