Making it to 34 weeks has been great--the bebes are now in good shape even if they are born early and continue to be big and healthy. Being 34 weeks pregnant, however, has come with some physical challenges. A few weeks ago, I'd walk by a group of strangers or nurses from the doctor's office and they'd greet me with a smile. They'd comment on how healthy I was looking and how cute and round my belly was. Those times are over. At my last OB appointment, my OB measured my belly, looked up at me and said "Oh you poor thing!".
I'm feeling more and more like a beached whale and can no longer control all the swelling in my (I was going to say feet here, but it's more like my whole body!). I'm amazed at my body's ability to hold all of this bebe. I'm so happy the OB moved the birth up to week 36, I can't imagine another 4-6 weeks in this condition!

Claire and Nina,
The latest ultrasound showed that you both were heads down with your faces turned inward so all we could see were the tops of you heads with a cute bright halo of (dark?) hair.
Less than 2 weeks to go: hang in there!
Your Mommy is doing great and still smiling through her discomfort and lack of sleep and your Daddy will install your car seats this week-end;
See you (not too) soon, petites cheries.
10 days and you will soon have some relief! I just spent the weekend with Harrison and Owen and talked about their little Nina and Claire, I so look forward to seeing them! See you next month. Love to you and amy brother.. and the girls of course!
